One of the most compelling and well-written posts I have ever read on the internet has appeared on the Rorate Caeli blog under the heading “Abandoned Shepherds.” I cannot recommend it highly enough. It is telling, and sad, that the priest-author is anonymous. I would very much like to buy him a pint.
